He was such a good looking little boy.  At 2 he had them all wrapped around his chubby little fingers. He held his little kitten proudly as the girls from the Junior High stopped to talk to him. Little Romeo was the youngest of the four Romero brothers, and growing up he learned how to entertain everyone. He loved it, and many times I would find him looking in the mirror smiling at himself. I watched as he grew through the years.. it was always the same. Girls of all ages flocked around him. At 10 he had ladies wanting to buy him ice cream. At 14 he was making them giggle as he joined me on a Saturday afternoon 'craft' party. The only teenager with a room full of grown women making crafts. He wowed them all. At work they asked, he's only 14? "My so handsome!" And so it went.

The years flew by and my baby grew. I knew it was only a matter of time before he would grow up and leave me, my very last son. Never did I think it would happen so soon..At 16 he came home one night to give me the news. His 18 year old girlfriend was pregnant. My heart dropped. I had suspected the same. My baby was going to have a baby!

Those were the hardest years.. many emotions, lots of tears and many happy times. Baby Angel was beautiful. She had the beautiful eyes of her daddy while she looked like her mother, tiny with big eyes. Soon her early years passed and Angel came to live with Romeo. Young and a single father he struggled to keep a home for her. Together they grew to love and depend on each other. And then their family grew. Romeo quickly had a new family with another baby girl. While their young family lasted quite a while longer, their time together did come to an end. By this time Angel was 8 with a 5 year old little sister, Destiny.. who now came to visit as often as she wanted.
