Soap & Glory - Clean on Me Creamy Clarifying Shower Gel......
WOW! A few week ago I was still a Soap & Glory virgin and it wasn't until reading some reviews on this site that I decided to check out what the fuss was all about and now I realise what I was missing.
Soap & Glory products are sold at Boots and are usually priced a little higher than products I would buy on a regular basis. However at the moment Boots have all the S&G products on a a third off the usual selling price so this brings them down to a more reasonable price.
This S&G Clean on Me Creamy Clarifying Shower Gel usually costs £4.89p and with a third off at the moment its selling for £3.26 pence. This is a really good price because the shower gel comes in a large sized 500ml bottle. The bottle also offers a handy pump at the top meaning it is far easier to use in the shower because your not having to screw on and off a lid.
The S&G products look really classy and the packaging has been thought out well. The product label is coloured pink and grey and has an old style black and white photo on on of a woman in a shower. This does give the impression that the product is of a high standard and somewhat fun and funky.
The bottle gives a lot of information about the product inside and on looking at this in the shop it made me decide that this shower gel was the S&G product I was going to try first. The descriptions given on the bottle say: "Yes, you can have it all...soft, smooth, sexy skin whenever you want, just...clean on me." And "With natural mandarin peel extract and bonus built in body lotion". The built in body lotion was what sealed the deal for me.
The shower gel itself it a light pink colour and smells totally gorgeous! I can't say that I can smell mandarin peel but the clean aroma I get is one of sweet smelling marshmallows! It really smells like you should eat it!
This product works just as any other shower gel would in the fact that you apply the gel to damp skin and massage in to clean. It does suggest on the bottle that you should turn the shower off so as to avoid loosing excess amounts of the cream down the plug but I find when I shower in the bath I can just move out of the way of the spray. I do use a body puffer to rub the shower gel into my skin and this seems to work better than using just my hands as it creates more bubbles
A little bit of this shower gel seems to
