The Karate Kid
A 12-year-old boy from Detroit moves with his mother to China and learns the finer points of Karate from the school maintenance man. Will Smith’s son Jaden is the star character and gives a good performance. The age of the combatants of this movie are younger than the original and will appeal to a younger crowd than the first movie. With a running time of 2 hours and 20 minutes, you will definitely get your money’s worth with this one.
Sex And The City 2
This sequel to the 2008 hit based on the TV series finds the ladies taking a trip to Abu Dhabi. All the characters are back and fans of the TV series will want to add this one to their library.
Letters To Juliet
An American female finds an unanswered letter in a lovers courtyard and goes on a mission to find the lovers. This light drama uses Italy as a backdrop and has some great scenery.
Eat Pray Love
Julia Roberts plays a woman who takes off a journey around the world to find herself. There was quite a bit of hype on this movie when it came to the theatre and women who are Julia Roberts’ fans will enjoy this.
Charlie St Cloud
A young man tries to deal with the loss of his younger brother and keep the memory of him close to him. A girl comes into his life and he must deal with his feelings and the bond he shared with the brother. Teenage girls who like sentimental dramas will thoroughly enjoy this movie.
Nanny For Christmas
Dead Cain stars in the Christmas movie about 3 adults who find that changes in their lives lead to a magical Christmas for them.
Homeless For The Holidays
An executive loses his job and ends up working at a fast food establishment. His bills are piling up and he needs for things to turn around or he will lose his house by Christmas. This is the type of Christmas miracle movie that we like to gather the family around the TV and watch during the holidays.
The Kids Are All Right
Two kids who are conceived by artificial insemination try to bring their father into their lives. As offbeat as this movie is, it received great reviews. Annette Bening and Julianne Moore lead a great cast in this well acted movie. It is not a Christmas type movie, but the great cast will make this one worth watching.
