Dreaded end, never planned
I dos break and fade away
Voracious emptiness consumes
Once hopeful lovers.
Righteousness cannot win
Cannot compete with such sorrow.
Each loses alone to win apart.

Poetry: Acrostics about divorce
by Scott Scherr
Death by Silence
Divorce was not an option,
Every moral held her place.
Abuse went unreported,
Truth was bruised across her
Demon lawyers stirring the brew,
Interminable legalities harass all through.
Vehement arguments, more than a few;
Open warfare
Darkest fears of nuptial knot
Irate tears of dreams forgot
Veer into two damaged hearts
Opening wounds to puss and rot.
by Gary Maclean
DIVORCE
Divorce is a hideous agony
Initiating pain and misery
Violating natural laws
Obliterating thoughts and feelings
Dreaming for the end of madness
Inseparable we thought; now only sadness
Vows we took to heart
Our hearts now grown apart
