People think the older a person is the more mature they are. Maturity has nothing to do with age; it's all in your mind. Someone can be 30 years old and still act as if they were three. Making good decisions, thinking before you act also before you speak, and appreciating things that God blessed you with are signs of a mature person. Nobody is perfect. Everyone makes mistakes. The difference between a mature person and an immature person is that a mature person learns from their mistakes. A mature person always plans everything they do. They always think of the outcome first before they speak or act. For example, if I'm at work and my boss is getting on my nerves and I start using profanity and I get fired then that's because I didn't think of the outcome of my actions. I promise if people think about the outcomes first before they act or speak then most people wouldn't be in so much trouble today.
Mature people are also good decision makers. Most people are successful today because they made good decisions. Mature people make good decisions and they are not easily influenced. An immature person listens to what everyone else says and acts on what they see and hear. A mature person does what he or she thinks is right no matter what the heard or saw. For example, they boy who killed his mom and tried to kill his dad back in 2008 blamed it on the video game Halo. Halo is a violent video game but it is just a game. A weak minded and immature person will take that game seriously and go out and do the violent things they saw on the game. A mature person has a strong mind. They don't act on what they see. They're plenty of violent video games and movies in the world. A mature person sees these games and movies and to them it's just entertainment but an immature person acts on what they see.
A mature person is also a grateful person. What I mean is, when a mature person catches a break they don't brag and look down on other people. Instead, they are thankful. A mature person realizes when they have been blessed and appreciates it. When something good happens to a mature person they are appreciative and they try not to mess it up. A mature person lives and maintains. An immature person catches a break then blows it. For example, if a mature person wins the lottery, they
