There are many rules, principles and mechanics that are essential to good writing. It doesn't matter if you write as a student or a professional. Writing for work, play or pay those who have a true passion for writing have different ideas about what R's are most important in writing. Those who write systematically within a job, business or school have a more systematic outlook on what is important in writing. This is basically governed by rigid rules that are influenced by education and training. However those who write due to passion can be more flexible and have a more personal approach to writing.
As a passionate writer the three R's that govern my writing are as follows: Reading, Rating and Remixing. This is writing with a new skool twist. The information transmitted through writing should resonate with a wide variety of people, communities and systems of thought. I think writing should be written in a way that it is appreciated at the end of two different spectrum's. This is good writing because it is stimulates interest accross greater numbers of people.Therefore reading, rating and remixing help to improve writing and expand its reach and impact.
All my life I heard the saying, "reading is fundamental." What a profound statement has become for me personally and those who write. In order to write effectively one must read. Reading helps grasp and comprehend topics. Reading helps the writer find a voice and a message. Reading helps the writer say things in a more relevant way to groups that may not relate to they way certain information is being conveyed. Reading provides an understanding that helps words to flow through thoughts and ideas that are written to express topics and subjects. Reading creates questions that need to be answered and needs dialog. This provides the best source of fresh content and new perspectives bring awareness and exposure to issues. Reading causes our writing to evolve into an artistic statement that is appreciated and respected. It becomes information that has the potential to transform lives and become a platform for change.
In terms of rating this is a two prong process. First the rate or speed of writing must be a priority. The faster one can write the more content can be produced. Those who write can't afford to spend a work day pounding out one 400 word article. The writer should be able to complete several pieces of content
