Poetry: Heaven & hell

by Valerie Zwald

Created on: March 07, 2007   Last Updated: May 14, 2007

Cursed or blessed,
The choice of path
To feel God's love
Or Satan's wrath

Good and evil
Wrong and right
Honor and cowardice
Meek and might

Torn, con from conscience
Torn, flesh from bone
Born into purity, then
Bourne into stone

Too much, a choice for mortal man
Too heavy laden chore
To rise and bask forever
To fall, inferno's roar
