Turkey and pumpkin pie
Have become staples of this holiday
And we enjoy it every year
Not want to miss this gathering
Keeping up with family and friends
Sports have their place as well
Gifts come in a strange form
Inviting potluck dishes
Varying the sides
Including other seasonal items
Never without a friend
Giving thanks for what we have
