Created on: November 02, 2010

More than three years after her untimely death, two people have been convicted of conspiring to provide the late Anna Nicole Smith with prescription drugs, The L.A. Times reported. Howard Stern and Dr. Khristine Eroshevich were each convicted on two counts of conspiring to obtain controlled substances by fraud and by providing false names. Eroshevich, a friend and psychiatrist to Smith, was also convicted of two additional counts involving obtaining medication by fraud.

Howard Marshall and asserted that age wasn't a factor. Following his death just thirteen months into their marriage, Anna Nicole claimed that J. Howard had promised her half of his estate if she married him. Upon this statement a long court battle would ensue with one of the late Howard Marshall's sons, who fought Smith tooth and nail in an effort to make sure she didn't get a fraction of what she believed she was due.
