How to make iced coffee

Making good iced coffee doesn't have to be rocket science. Its easier then making an espresso drink on a home espresso machine, and is fun to customize and make your own.

First, choose a coffee. I recommend something dark, like Espresso roast, or Italian Roast is a good choice. If you like sweet coffee i recommend getting a medium bodied, or mild coffee. (Breakfast blend coffees usually are usually light-bodied)
When brewing iced coffee, it is a good idea to make it stronger then normal. About 4 tablespoons of ground coffee to every 6 ounces of water. This may seem like a lot, but its going to be poured over ice, and you don't want it to be too watery.
When the coffee is done brewing, pour into a pitcher. Now is a good time to add any sugar(or sweetener)you may want. Adding it now will save you a lot of trouble because it will be too cold to dissolve. Now Add ice(to the top of the container) and chill in the fridge.
* It doesn't need to be completely chilled before serving. Putting ice in your cup will suffice if its luke warm.

Making it fun: (Modifications make the coffee world go-round)
Whats the point in making it at home if you don't customize it to your own liking?

~Try Vanilla syrup instead of Sugar, tases like a latte you'd spend $3 at a coffee shop
~ Try Silk Soy Creamer instead of half & half-its fewer calories and just as delicious(if not better).
~If you want less of a jolt use 1/2 regular and half decaf.

Now just grab a glass and and serve!

Tips to remember for the best brewed coffee:
~ Use Filtered water to make superior tasting coffee
~Freshness is also important, coffee that is freshly ground will make a difference.
