Expanding, unbridled rage;
Rushing, pushing on
Blinding light, deafening crash
Torrent of water unleashed.

Shaking clouds to tears
Through the clamor of the storm
I can hear the raindrops
Jagged yellow forks
flashing among blackened clouds.
A thunderous roar.
This bright lion in the sky
on the prowl for
Rumbling from afar
Heavy clouds obscure the sky
Flashing streaks of light
Tumbling rain and thunder claps
The storm’s
Scared small girl alone:
Crash! Boom! Make it go away!
Rain patters the roof.
