Gone But No Forgotten: Ground Zero
Once we stood high above the sky,
Symbols of the American dream
Strong and sturdy, never to fall
But now, we must rise once again
To grace a city full of mourning,
Like a beacon of hope,
Like light from a light house,
To help heal the hurt the destruction has left behind
We welcome visitors to remember
that fateful day,
Not with sorrow but with warmth
As to say we will remember always,
and never to forget those magnificent towers, and the people they held
Once we stood high above the sky,
Symbols of the American dream
Strong and Sturdy, never to fall.
