BLOODLUST
The perfection found reflected in the darkest drops of rain
Is adequately suited to the pleasures of my pain
Dark rivers of the heart let my blood run cold and black
Though bloodlust proves never enough to fulfill the pleasures that I lack
I have obsession with the raindrops and yearning for his touch
Though mere thought of pleasures unheard of will never be enough
Held back by the confines of shadows and endless depths of despair
I know for me, a monster, his pure heart could never care
Every essence of my being is hollow and impure
And for the disease of emptiness I will never know a cure
I, a vampire, capable of love though left without a soul
As I am unworthy of his heart, mine remains forever cold
