Cat facts: How well do you know your cat?

Cats spend most of their time sleeping but in their awakened hours we observe the many  expressions they exhibit. The inward thoughts of cats unleash an array of outward conduct that sometimes surprise us with their antics whether it is good, bad or down right hilarious. Their personalities can be very different when they live in a multiple cat family as opposed to a single cat living under your roof. Having more than one cat can multiply the types of innate actions they demonstrate living in the wild. This article will take you into the life a typical feline day and exploit the different ways a cat interacts with us and other living creatures.

It's Dinner Time
Your cat knows when dinner time is approaching and may seek you out to remind you. Purring excessively, they know you understand exactly what they want. They are all about eye contact and when they want something they are not bashful about it. One might consider this coercion.

Your Feline in a Curious Mode
Cats are instinctively curious creatures and the resulting consequences can mean trouble, or on the other hand, a comical scene. For instance, if they are stalking a cricket, they may hop like one as they tag along attempting to capture it. If however their curiosity is the buzz of a wasp, the ending result might be your beloved pet fleeing the area and excessively licking its wound.

Why Do Cats Purr?
While it is generally regarded a truism that when cats purr, they are contented and we all agree. They may even knead and purr above the sound of your tv on a crumpled blanket as if they are about to feed on a lactating queen (mother cat). Along with kneading and incessant purring this in reality is not always the reason a cat purrs. A cat can even purr during the stress of pain, but it is certainly more likely do to contentment, comfort and companionship.

On the Prowl
While we are tucked away in our warm beds, many cats will be up and on the prowl. For what, we do not know. They have the physical ability to see light far greater than us humans. Along with their visual ability to see light, they also have whiskers that allows them to feel their way around your home. However, no cat is perfect and every once in a while when you are out in dream land, a crashing sound awakens you. Yes, you have just lost a piece of decor that your kitty accidentally wedged itself in-between and sent to the ground broken in a thousand pieces.

There are times we wonder who the pet really
