How to restore your youthful energy

As the body ages it goes through various stages that effect the vitality of the body.  Diet, exercise, obesity and hormones play a huge role in the youthful energy of the human body.  Think of the growth spurts that a child goes through as they progress into adulthood.  Growth hormones can seem to be creating a new person right before your eyes.  Think of the changes in the female body when it is going through hormonal changes due to pregnancy or menopause.

Over decades the human body is bombarded with hormonal changes that effect its energy levels.  The human body ages according to how well it was maintained, genetics, diet and exercise.  Obesity is a rising concern in many countries including the United States that not only effects the middle aged but also the youth of the country.   Obesity allows diseases to effect our bodies through various forms of attack such as diabetes, fatty liver disease, kidney disease and numerous other ailments.

Hormones as we age can affect our energy, vitality and even the health of our organs.  Insulin is a hormone that is produced in our bodies and when this hormone is not producing properly you have a hormonal imbalance that can cause diabetes and fatty liver disease.  Neither of these diseases are curable but they are treatable.  Adrenalin is another important hormone that the body uses.  Adrenalin is that boost you get when you need a sudden burst of energy in a fight or flight situation and it is a natural hormone that is made in the human body.

Thyroid disease is a hormonal imbalance that can drastically affect the energy levels in the human body.  The thyroid hormone can make you feel energized or sluggish depending on if it is over active or under active.  If you have an under active thyroid you may gain weight, feel tired all the time, can make your fingernails brittle and your hair dull and listless, etc.  If it is over active you could have trouble maintaining a normal weight, energy levels may wain and you could development a horrible thirst, etc.

To restore the youthful energy the body had when it was younger you need to address the changes in diet, exercise and lifestyle that affect the hormones in the body.  A complete lifestyle change may be required depending on the condition of the body.  If the hormones are out of balance the body will have a difficult time maintaining usable energy levels.
