Baby registry must haves

I am sure everyone has already thought of the obvious items. Such as, carseat, stroller, crib, hygiene items, and clothes. There were a few items I didn't think of as a first time mother, that I knew a few other first time mothers forgot as well.

Heres a list of items I wished I'd thought of and can't live without:

- zip up pajamas. These are great for middle of the night diaper changes, so you are not fighting the buttons in the dark.

- a swing. I got one that will be a rocking chair once shes hits 20lbs, definitely worth the money

- bottles. I planned to breastfed, but plans changed and I had 2 bottles that someone got me because they were cute. And don't think that a high price means its the best. I have some cheapo target ones that are much better than the expensive ventairs.

- Little Noses saline. It is great and safe for all stuffy noses.

- nipple basket. if you have a dishwasher it is a must have for washing bottles. Saves you from needing a sterilizer.

- brushes. They don't have much hair, but it can get very messy!

- baby tooth brush. even without teeth it keeps there mouth clean, which means less problems later.

- cloth diapers. They make the best burp cloths!

- highchair/booster seat. They kind that straps to a chair is the best way to go. Some are infant seats that'll transition to a booster seat later. A wise investment and so much cheaper than a plain highchair.

- Fisher Price Aquarium tub or one similar. It has a sling for ity bity babies, and once they are out of that one side is got supported sitters, the other for advanced sitters.

- diaper changing pad. Some diaper bags come with them, but you'll want one if your at someones house or in a public restroom, or even just the back seat of your car.

Don't get to carried away scanning things at Target and Babies R Us or wherever you go. There are so many things you don't really need. I think I used my boppy once ($50 down the drain for the boppy and cover) the comforter to match my daughters crib set, pacifier thermometer (if the baby is screaming you wont get a correct temperature).
