What should be included in an all-inclusive vacation

The great thing about all-inclusive vacations is the fact that all the basics for a great vacation are already taken care of and paid for the second that the final payment is made.  So that means that not only is your room booked, but transportation, meals, drinks, activities, and gratuities are paid for as well.

Transportation

When booking an all-inclusive vacation with transportation being a part of the package, this usually means that airfare as well as hotel transfers are covered.  In addition, taxes associated with traveling to and from another country are covered as well.  This is extremely important considering the majority of all-inclusive resorts are located in the Caribbean or Mexico.  As far as hotel transfers are concerned, the fact that transfers are included can save a lot and be a tremendous safety advantage as well because the drivers are trusted employees of reliable companies.  In many countries, tourists are prayed on, and become target for robbery or trafficking, so, by using a reliable company provided with the all-inclusive vacation package, these unfortunate events are extremely unlikely to happen

Accommodations

Accommodations within an all-inclusive resort can vary greatly from a standard hotel room with a king bed and private bathroom to a more luxurious suite complete with a kitchenette, sitting area, and Jacuzzi.  No matter what type of room is booked, rooms are likely to have amazing views of the ocean or the rest of the resort property.

Meals

When staying on an all-inclusive resort, one thing guests don’t have to worry about is going hungry.  Buffets are often open 24 hours a day and a la carte restaurants are available as well.  Options vary from resort to resort, but it is not uncommon to have a “burger joint”, Steakhouse, Hibachi restaurant, and Italian eatery all on the same property.  One thing to keep in mind however for guests who plan on taking advantage of the fine dining restaurants is that semi formal attire is required, so no bathing suits or jeans are allowed like what you would were to the buffet, and reservations are usually required.  So, even though guests can dine at these restaurants free of charge, reservations should be made as early as possible so that space is guaranteed to be available.

Drinks

Just as guests will not go hungry, they will not go thirsty as well.  Bars tend to be scattered around the all-inclusive resorts serving both
