We can spend all of our lives in search of the perfect church and never find it, never even come close to finding it, because perfection is an ideal that can never be reached in any area of human life, including as it relates to church. The reason why is that life, like church, itself is only an illusion and perfection can never be found in a mirage-for the thing doesn’t really exist! So let us stop fooling our selves: the perfect church doesn’t exist. It never has. And it never will.
Who ever thinks it does only fools him or her self. In fact, two of the most imperfect things found in life are religion and politics. Just like politics and politicians are as crooked as ever in history, so is all religion and the churches pertaining to each one as imperfect as ever as well.
Let us concede: there is no perfection to be found in the world. All there is and all there ever will be is illusion, simple unadulterated illusion. And we are doomed to its presence, now and throughout our lifetimes.
Do we have a choice in the matter?
None whatsoever, church like everything else in life evolved from the human mind. And as such is jaded from beginning to end. There is no perfection to be found in church, not even a sliver. Not now or ever. And we are doomed as long as religion persists in the world. For religion in all its glory is more about dividing than uniting the human species all around the world!
They who would adhere to and uphold religion and church in the world have no idea, no concept, that they are actually promoting a most damaging form of divisiveness amongst our species, for there is ample evidence throughout history that most wars in the world have been the result of differences and beliefs in religion than in politics or anything else in the world.
In search of the perfect church? There is no such thing. There is no perfect church in the world. There is only a religious establishment that tries to play God, and which has succeeded in dictating to the human race what is presumably “right” or “wrong” or “acceptable” to God. And we have been weak enough to allow religion and church to dictate and do this to us.
We don’t need religion or church to lead us to God: we don’t need either period! What we need is to eradicate church and religion all around the world. Then we would finally be free to relate to God one on one. This would be the “perfect” situation.
So forget about the perfect church: it doesn’t exist. Don’t even bother looking for it, for to do so is to look in vain for something that doesn’t even exist. And which never will. Perfection is only found in God. And to find God we simply need to look. When we seek we shall find what we’re looking for, even when it is God that we search for.
Seek and you shall find-even when it involves God!
