My Garden of Love
We stroll through the flowers,
Barefoot and enjoying each passing second,
I express my love for you with this moment
and pray I can do it again and again.
We lose ourselves in each others eyes,
Our hands wander each others' skin,
No place of on my body left untouched,
No skin unkissed, no curve unloved.
As the rising sun reaches its peak,
It shines brightly on our joined bodies,
The birds chirp their songs of love
as the grass sways and moves our souls.
You have seen my garden outside,
Its beauty a fine representation of our love,
but your heart will really be astounded
when you touch my garden on the inside.
I can't fully express my love for you in words,
but I can show you everything you need to know;
As I escort you to my bed of roses,
for this very moment, our first night of flight.
As the moon shines on us,
Your soul follows and twists around my body like a grapevine,
I drink from your essence; my own personal pond,
As the air smells of love and something very divine.
We awake at the break of dawn,
You slightly stiff and me lovingly sore,
We smile and laugh and yawn,
As the glow of sunshine hits us just as the moon had done before.
You take a look at my garden outside,
Beautiful as it may seem, but you and I can both agree:
Nothing compares to my inner garden of love
As the days ahead honor us with endless possibilities.
