Poetry: Death haunts me

by Eva Lewis-Duncan

Created on: October 28, 2010

Death all around me,

I feel it surround me,

Pressing down,

The weight abounds.

Will it ever be,

That death will leave me be?

The fear shackles,

As fate cackles,

Finding mirth,

At death,

Upon my hearth.
