Another year has passed
Like a misty autumn day
My hopes taken by wind gusts
Have all been blown away
This autumn has brought
An unexpected crop
What I had sought
I had to drop
The fruit that I had hoped for
Has not matured yet
I would not anymore
Bewail and regret
And take the fruit
I did not mean to sow
The fruit of pain acute
Which will not stop to grow
