As it is getting colder outside I went upstairs to my treasure box and brought down all my scarves, caps, gloves and my favourite hat. I don’t use all of them yet but my Adidas beanie was really handy when I was out swimming the other day.

About Adidas

As you may know Adidas is a German brand, the manufacturer specialised on footwear, sports wear and other sport related gear. Their products are widely available all over the world. The Adidas products are available through their online shop, other online retailers such as Amazon and high street shops that sell sports gear.

The quality of the products is in general quite good. Despite some not very successful products the majority is of premium quality. The newly issued products are quite expensive but if you are not a fashion addict and you can do with an earlier design their prices are reasonable. You can get 7% cashback from different cashback sites so it is worth checking them through the Money Saving Expert. If you register to the Adidas online shop they let you know about the sales. I have just received an email alert that there is a 30% sale on certain products.

My beanie

I bought it last year for 18 pounds it is now available on Amazon for about 16 pounds. The colour selection is similar to the old Ford T-models: black or black, did I mention black? The size selection is similar: one size fits most so take it or leave it. I must have very average size head as it fits me perfectly.

The beanie looks as a simple knitted head gear but inside the cap there is a soft insulation which keeps my head nicely warm. The beanie was designed to winter sports so it really has to be warm. It is very stretchy that’s why it is suitable for most of us in only one size.

Material

The label says that it is made of 95% Acrylic and 5% Cashmere. From outside you can see a nice black knitted cap which is very soft. There is a small black Adidas logo in the front of the cap but it is not very flashy. The inner side is made of a special material which is similar to fleece but it is thinner. This material aims to protect the head against wind and keep it warm. It is very-very soft.

Features

This beanie feature ClimaWarm lining which it the thermal insulation I mentioned before. This soft insulation keeps our head nicely warm.

The beanie is large enough to cover your forehead and ears to protect them while jogging or doing other sports.

Washing

It is recommended to be washed by hand in water up to 30 degrees
