Poetry: I'll never

by Brandi Gregory

Created on: October 23, 2010

I'll never stop dreaming of what could be

I'll never stop thinking of you with me

I'll never again stare into those eyes

Those shimmering blue eyes that crystallize

I'll never again touch those gentle lips

The ones you pressed to me, your hands on my hips

Now, I'll never be able to hold onto you tight

Wanting you so much, with all of my might

Now, I'll never be able to laugh at your silliness

You don't want me, that's all, I guess

I'll never get over the things that you said

I'll never get over how you quickly fled

I'll never understand why you went away

After you acted like everything was okay

I'll never understand if it was me or you

But now it doesn't matter, there's nothing left to do
