A chameleon to all I have known
Mirrors do not reflect what my mind has shown
Do no trust how to feel and what to say
Tired of pretending nothing happened and we're okay
Adding the memories of where we've been, what was said, and what we've done
A house built with wailing walls is all I can sum
'Lost Boy' childhood left Neverland fogged
These were the cherished times that we have logged
But everything is ok
You dont remember anything that way
Should I be happy I had it better than you?
Should I feel sorry for the hurt that you
went through
Should I feel lucky that you have stayed?
Should I be grateful for the apologies you
have made
The crying and pleading, deaf ears cannot hear
You are right and good is all that she can mirror
But the reflection in her eyes and what she says do not meet
With her conviction this circle of denial is complete
Burdened by the weight of holding up a guiding light
Cracked and worn smiles do not shine as bright
As she looks down at the three chains that bind
why she cannot turn and run they often remind
But everything is ok
You dont remember everything that way
Should I be happy I had it better then you?
Should I feel sorry for the hurt that you..
went through
Should I feel Lucky that you have Stayed?
Should I be grateful for the apologies you..
have made
Can you see the pain in my eyes and on my face
Within my anger I will displace
Lash out on those who I love, what I have learned
Silent embers of rage in this house too shall burn
By running to the end I started where I began
Mirrors reflect a stranger holding a familiars hand
Now its my turn to pick up the light
Another circle will complete this chain of fight
But everything is okay
I dont remember anything or everything anyway
