The Man In The Moon

The man in the moon,

He winked his eye!

I know cause I saw him

High in the sky!

The man in the moon,

Oh, why? Oh, why?

Why did he so sweetly

Just wink his eye?

The man in the moon,

He winked his eye?

Yes, the man in the moon

And he's my guy!

The man in the moon

Might wink his eye.

Are you sure that he did?

I sigh! I sigh!

The man in the moon,

I knew he could.

Now that might mean something

That's really good!

Now what do you think

That this might mean?

The man in the moon, but...

Who's ever seen

The man in the moon

Just wink his eye?

It might be a big cloud

That's flying high.

Did you ever tell

A pure, white lie?

Now, the man in the moon,

He says, "Goodbye

And off to the moon,

You too must fly!"

To the man in the moon,

"Goodbye! Goodbye!"
