STRANDED

You're not gone; but here  when I'm alone with my beer...This loneliness that's in my heart is tearing us apart.

Sometimes, I am stranded on the shore. You leave me wanting more.  With her, I can't even the score.  When did she and "I" become a "we?"  Never knew how you felt. Now you are losing me.

God forbid you have an opinion...It'd ruin his dominion. It's his say in the world If you're gonna be his girl.

The girl's are spinning; no ones winning. No one's getting what we need. Standing by, we slowly bleed.

He says, "It's just sex,  it is useless with them."  Would YOU have done it if it'd cause our end?

Can someone share the pain I feel?  Was our love ever real?  Did you ever feel the same, or was our love just a game?

Your sorry is late; I'm filled with hate. You need to make it right, yet you fill me with spite.  It's over. I am tired and a mess.  So tired of you putting our love to the test.  Can't you just accept it? I AM THE BEST.
