Views on illegal immigration in the US

We got drunk with the Mexican boarder, made a baby, we tried to hide it from our wifes, but it has got so bad, we need to come clean and not be so laissez-faire with the boarder.

No matter how one feels about it good, bad, or indifferent, Everyone has benefited from Illegal immigrants. However, a lot of people have been SCREWED by illegals.

The people of Arizona have been screwed by illegal immigration. First, the city of Phoenix is the capital of identity theft. The prisons and jails are full of illegal immigrants. Medicaid is going bankrupt in the state because of illegals, and hospitals are forced to shift the cost of non-payers to the payer; forcing health care and insurance cost to go up. Last but not least, Education, ESL(english as a second language) has cost the state way too much money. Educators spend time teaching English to children of illegals and neglecting or retarding the growth of a student that already know the language. The state of Arizona is bleeding and no longer can say "oh, that's the federal governments problem".

People say "this bill is racist and leads to racial profiling"... One, how can a cop see if you are Hispanic if everyone has tinted windows. Second, some areas of town only have Mexicans living, pull over nine cars and in ten you'll find mexicans. If I was a legal immigrant I would show with pride that I had every right to be here...Before this bill was passed, my wife and I have been asked to show ID as passengers and we are white.

The Mexican boarder is worse than the Canadian boarder. Drug violence has spilled into Arizona, it has got worse over the last several years. There is a greater economic need to come from Mexico, than to come from Canada. If you are coming from Mexico you're hiking, Canada you are using a vehicle.

"The babies" created in this affair are children of Illegals that have gone to school here and all they know is USA. It's hard for them to get citizenship, even if they get married to a US citizen... I know several people that have been deported or can be deported that are in that interesting perdictment.

I hope that because the S.B. 1070 was passed it pisses someone off in Washington DC, so that something gets done.
