MY CITY OF GOLD
Ever since I can remember, I search my city of gold.
Often I forget the reason for my searching.
Sometimes I even want to just quit the journey.
I wonder if one day it would be possible.
For long periods of time, the road is dark.
How long before my body can’t take more?
Just when I overcome an impossible obstacle, there are
many more difficult.
One more voyage, one more apartment, one more field of
studies.
Forget old friends. Make new friends.
Risk health, friendship, family, homeland;
Leave everything, for My City of Gold; invisible.
Maybe I should just abandon everything, even life?
But then I remember the immortal lesson;
 
WITH LOVE, FAITH, HOPE AND HUMAN
DETERMINATION…. ALL IS POSSIBLE
Even my City of Gold.
