How your office job can zap your energy

Often times, people are so dedicated to their job and their company that they work from 9am to 10pm at times. After a while of that routine, their body can start to burn out. They might feel sluggish, tired, without a drive to continue to work. Stress with colleagues that demand more and more things from them and even at times bully them can increase these effects even more.

When people see their life far away from where they want it to be (their blueprint) and their life conditions do not match their blueprint, a high level of unhappiness is caused. Most often, unconscious of the fact that that their emotions determine their energy level to some degree they indulge in their misery.

Feeling uncertain about the future in your company and being afraid of losing your job can zap your energy on a grand scale. In this case, it is proven that negative emotions such as fear about the economy, about losing one's job and frustration about stress on the job in the office can cause actual physical pain that drain your energy. A useful tool to release these pains is the Emotional Freedom Technique. The intense tension in your neck and shoulders as well as your back is likely to disappear fast. The pressure you put on yourself disappears as well.

Changing your diet is an important step in getting your energy back as well. Including life foods such as vegetables and fruits as well as a lot of water in your diet helps clean out your system. Your energy will shot up like a rocket.

Improving the outlook on life will also change your energy level. You can do that by changing

what you focus on,

the words you use and

your physiology.

These three points are also called "The Triad" by people in the coaching industry and by followers of NLP.

Focusing on all the negative events in your life can drain the energy from your body and mind in a harsh way. Focusing on being grateful for what is going well in your life can help you get your energy back.

Saying phrases like "I can't", "I am not able to", "This is bad" and other dis-empowering words and phrases makes your focus go to the negative and drains your energy in the long run. Changing the words you use to empowering words to "I can", "I am able to" or "This can be better" will help train your mind to focus on the right things.

Changing your physiology can help immensely to gain back your energy. Dancing is one of these ways. Focusing on the music and all the great associations you made listening to the music.

Another aspect to consider is the fact that the wrong career is likely to drain your energy in the long run. If you are not happy in your job, if it does not fulfill you on all levels, it is likely to be the wrong career for you and will drain your energy putting stress on your entire system.

Looking into what the ideal career for you is and following that notion can empower you to take charge of your life and increase your energy because you are going to do something you are passionate about.
