I want new life,
like old feelings.
You have a new knife,
and I am kneeling.
In my cold bubble,
in space and rain.
For girl I am trouble,
and that's the pain.
There is a dark shadow,
under her emerald eyes.
Breath becomes weak,
under strain of lies.
I'm seeking new time,
and not on old terms.
But one forgotten line,
and I'll be heading for the worms.
What a disgusting thought,
in a back-skipping heart.
It's into you I bought,
and yet you depart.
