Our Little Angel
Our little angel,
Oh, how so sweet.
You're now in heaven,
Playing at God's feet.
You look down at us,
From up high.
You can see the tears,
That we cry.
Our hearts will always long,
To hold your hand.
To kiss your cheek,
And to help you stand.
Our little angel,
It just wasn't meant to be.
You will always,
Be a part of me.
Not a day will go by,
We won't wish to see your face.
But we know you're somewhere better,
Surrounded by God's grace.
We will be alright,
Each day is better than the last.
Life has to go on,
We can't dwell in the past.
Our little angel,
So precious and so small.
God spoke your name,
And you answered His call.
He took you home,
To be with Him.
Away from the hurt,
The pain and the sin.
He comforts us,
As we try to cope.
He gives us peace,
When we feel there is no hope.
Our little angel,
We'll try to be strong.
God will heal us,
And help us along.
So pure is the love,
We have in our hearts.
And the memory,
Will never part.
The days will move on,
And the years will too.
But we will never,
Forget about you.
