Parents-to-be appreciate any gifts that they receive at a baby shower, as newborns need a lot of equipment. How do you decide what would be the perfect baby shower gift? Firstly, decide on how much you are going to spend on the gift. A gift hamper containing useful essential items will be a boon with the expectant parents. Practical items may seem boring, however, these will be appreciated once the baby arrives, as the everyday essential items will come in handy. Home-made gift baskets are favorable, as you can set your own budget and add the items you think will be more suitable. Create your own gift basket using either a wicker basket or laundry basket, as these will come in useful once the baby is here as well. Carefully select the items, and line the basket with a baby blanket, and then arrange the items inside, you can cover the basket with a crib sheet or blanket, and then wrap it with a ribbon. • Gifts for the expectant parents

Not many think to buy for the expectant parents, however, they deserve to have a nice treat, too. Once baby arrives their life will be turned upside down, they will be sleep deprived and have so many extra jobs to do. So a basket of treats and luxury items for the parents-to-be will be a gift that will be welcomed. Use a wicker basket and line it with a baby blanket or towel along with items such as, relaxing bath and shower products, body lotions, face masks, chocolate and wine. A newborns skin is precious and it needs to be taken care of, bathing a newborn can be unnerving for new parents. A baby bath time basket is a practical gift that will make bath time that little bit easier. You can use either a baby bath tub or a wicker basket that can be lined with a fluffy hooded baby towel. Essentials that can be included are baby shampoo, mild baby soap, baby lotion and a soft wash cloth.
