What light shines within you that so draws me near?
Your smoldering fire entices me yet still I have no fears
Desires burn, flames licking from the depths of my soul
It’s merely all of you, a part of you, you that I need to know
Night falls through the sky finally bringing peace within
Yet, the light that draws me glowing from your heart wins
Darkness saves me from that which sends me reeling
I feel your gentle spirit’s pull grasping my entire being
Insanity, insanity, oh how my mind wants to simply burst
A stranger’s intrigue, a deep yearning, it's as though I’m cursed
My heart pushes all logical thought and sound reasoning away
Your touch, your lips, your kiss, give to me, if even just one day
A moment, a need, this is what my mind keep thinking
Moments into a lifetime this is what my soul is seeking
Dare we touch to part painfully when we know you cannot stay
For one touch from you, my soul is the price I willingly pay
If but for a moment, in your arms, you hold me as your own
Time stands forever still for the love we will have shown
Grace my being with your love, your affection, your body, your soul
Just one moment together, and our lives will forever be whole
How foolish is my heart to believe without you I could live
For now you’ve become a part of me, my life to you I’ll give
Your loving arrow’s touch shall forever pierce my beating heart
Aim wisely love’s bow, lonely hunter, I’ve not strength from you to part
