As seasons change from spring to Fall
And all succumbs to winter's call
This life we live it changes too
From season to season and stages too
This wondrous life we live today
With memories of yesterday
Be filled with hope today for tomorrow
Per chance to quell any haunting sorrows
To not just live but to be redeemed
Yesterday's woes in hope's requiem
To meet and know the giver of life
And mend the things which bring us strife
To learn to love and overcome
And be changed within the interim
Enjoy this life yet learn and grow
For when it's over we do not know
This life, a gift to you, to me
To make the most of what can be
With God and loved ones at our sides
Limitless hope in life abides

whether I am in control.
Maybe there is such a thing as fate,
or maybe
