Always the same
boring routine,
day in, day out,
I could almost scream.
Protesting against
what I perceive
as endless tedium
with no reprieve.
Waiting for change
that never arrives,
when suddenly
I realize.
To get out of this rut
and set myself free,
the changes I seek
must begin with me.
