Finding meaning in your life
We all live, and want our lives to have some kind of meaning. Having a meaningful life does not mean having the biggest house, the most successful career and the most brill ant children in the whole neighbourhood. Sometimes people only find meaning in their lives once they go through trials and tribulations in their lives. Suffering can be blessings in disguise, and provide us with the opportunity to build strengh of character.
People who step out of their comfort zone, and are ready to take on life, and the dangers that come with it, can add and find great meaning in their lives. Through uncertainty, and conquering fear of the unknown they grow and find live life to the fullest. This brings some kind of meaning to their lives, and they become a great soul.
Doing charity work, and helping others can help us find meaning in our lives. This type of work purifies us, and instills good values and thoughts. We become divine, and can sit back, and feel proud that we took the initative, and helped another person. Charity work helps us build compassion in our hearts. We become better people as a result.
Family and friends can help us find meaning in our lives. Love is something that binds all of us together, and loving others can add lots of meaning and purpose. This does not have to be confined to that special someone in our life, that we so selfishly love, but we should expand our love outwards. Charity work helps us to just this, and we become better people as a result.
Prayer helps us find meaning in our lifes. Beleiving in a higher power helps us reconnect with our lost past, and feeds our soul with divinity. We are all on a path in life, and the sooner we can find out what that path is the better it is for us.
Doing simple tasks like taking a walk on the beach, planting a peace garden or playing with the pet dog can add lots of meaning to life. By taking the initiative to do something for ourselves, we let go of our petty little egos, and add so much more to our lives. Doing simple tasks can also keep the mind occupied, and we refrain from doing damage to ourselves.
We have to look into ourselves in order to find meaning in our lives. People need to stop, and appreciate what they have in order to fill their hearts with love.
