Poetry: Crossroads

by Bharathy Easwar

Created on: October 10, 2010

At the crossroad of life today I stand

Not knowing which way to go

Which road would be better for me?

Should I go or let it be?

Should I accept life as it is?

Should I dare to hit or miss?

Can I pick up from here again?

In my mind there is a constant refrain.

No longer can I bear to wait

be a bystander and fate await

Act I will and let me see

What you hold for me – Destiny.
