As we say goodbye to summer we are welcoming and embracing the fall and winter seasons. The leaves are changing, the temperatures are falling, and our wardrobes are being revamped. Not only is the clothing being changed, accessories are as well so it’s no surprise that teen girls are making room in their closets for this season’s most popular must-have items.

Here is an overview of the must-have fall accessories for teens and where to find them.

Scarves-Regardless of the state in which one lives a scarf is one fashion trend that never goes out of style. Whether you wear it to keep warm, cover up an imperfection, or to make a fashion statement, it’s important that teen girls add this must-have accessory to their fall and winter wardrobes.  A basic scarf can be purchased for under $20 at “Forever 21” or for the teen that is really into wearing designer accessories she can purchase a Rachel Roy scarf for $34 at “Macy’s.”

Bracelets-Since the 80’s bracelets have been a popular wardrobe accessory and it seems that the trend has been “the more the merrier.” Whether they are bangle or jelly bracelets, every teen should add this must-have fall accessory to their wardrobe. Plastic jelly bracelets can be purchased from “Wal-Mart” for under $10 or teens can purchase bangle bracelets for $12.99 at “Target.”

Watches-At a time watches were used strictly for keeping time, but today they’re used as merely a fashion statement. This must-have fall accessory for teens will put the finishing touch on every outfit. With so many brands, styles, and colors to choose from the possibilities are endless. I do suggest teens purchase a watch that can suit any outfit and/or fashion trend. Right now “bigger” and “bulkier” are better and that type of watch can be purchased almost anywhere. “Anne Klein” has a two-tone watch priced at $55 while a “Mudd” watch can be bought for $24.99 at “Kohl’s.”

Earrings-When it comes to earrings there are countless choices so it’s no surprise that they are a definite must-have fall accessory for teens. Whether from “Claire’s,” “TJ Maxx,” or “JC Penny’s,” teens can find earrings at a very affordable price. The current trend is much like wrist watches; bulky; something that makes a bold statement. “Charlotte Russe” is a great store to purchase chandelier earrings, large hoop earrings, and tear drop earrings, all for under $10.00. They are not only fashion forward but they are very unique and beautiful.

Bags-Like shoes, a girl can never own too many bags and for this reason it is one of the must-have fall accessories for teens. Whether it’s an “Aldo” leather pouch for $45, a “Deux Lux” for $66, or a “Charlotte Russe” quilted bag for $23, every teen will be fashionable during this chilly season.

Not only will teens make a fashion statement when wearing these items they will also save money when purchasing them as they are quite affordable.
