If you have a 16, 17, or 18 year old girl on your gift list then you should not have too much difficulty selecting a gift for her. These young ladies are just shy of being classed as a woman and yet still young enough to enjoy participating in childhood activities if they choose too. Teenage girls are wonderful to purchase gifts for because there are just so many arenas that you can shop in.

She is very much in tune with her girlfriends at this age and many of the activities that she participates in will also involve her closest confidants so keep this in mind when selecting gifts for the sixteen, seventeen, or eighteen year old girl.

Cosmetics and Fragrances are great. Still discovering her cosmetic color shades, and preferences, beauty gift ideas for 16, 17, and 18 year old girls are unlimited. Because she is still experimenting with the beauty products that are available to her, any gift of blush, nail polish, eye shadow, lipstick, gloss, or body glitter that comes in a multi-color pack is ideal for her. These sample products allow her to play with the many color choices available to her to see which ones will be best suited to her skin tone, clothing, and personality.

Nail polish can be a wonderful play item for her, as it can be applied in a number of ways, and all of which are designed to reflect her distinct personality. Or a cosmetic book which shows how to correctly apply make-up in order to achieve any look from classy,  to Goth, or classic. Yoga and Pilate's are very much in vogue for exercise manuals if she has expressed an interest in that area.

When choosing fragrances once again look at multi-packs of these items. There are many smaller portion packages of perfume available as well as many sample packages of various brands. An older teenage girl has usually not yet selected her personal favorite scents probably so is still trying to discover the fragrances that most suit her personality.
