Why our society values conformity

Along the road of dreams we awaken to realize a lot of which we have wished for, was not essential to our needs. All too often we are misled of being competent and aware of our own true being, and a large portion of that which we have wanted, wished for, or dreamed of, was instead produced in vain.

We, being all of us are affected, polluted if you will to one degree or another by our conscious mind, referred to our consciousness. Thus as a result of our awareness to our surroundings, we are directly influenced by people, places, and things to which we seek acceptance, and search amidst such Earthly affairs to find our "true" selves, or our significance in short.

Although this seems a natural act, by which we coincide with one another, truly this is both a blessing, and a curse.

Certainly no-one likes to be left out, cast away, or worse unlikable by the natural order of our being. Especially by, or beginning with our families, friends, amongst society, nor in essence by the world for the matter.

Unfortunately, we allow ourselves to seek the reward, the gratification, from one another, such as through love and the extenuating part-time benefits found within. As such is so, the same principles on a more minuscule level, whereas we reduce to something as brief as a compliment regarding something we have done, or specific quality we possess as individuals, and systematically by instinct we sub-consciously react to the influences thereof.

Don't get me wrong these are merely two examples that everyone has experienced amongst the millions of emotional scenarios relevant, that contribute to the numerous underlying scars that impale us, without us ever acknowledging they have affected us sub-consciously. As such, our emotions have played a huge role in formulating our individual characteristics, our behavioral patterns, and the habits we all share, they are undeniably linked to our emotional state of mind, and contribute to our current being today.

Imagine this for example: as the day goes by, you in your natural order of events receive (5) compliments on your attire, (3) compliments regarding your new car, and (1) compliment referring to what beautiful eyes you have.

Ultimately, this we can chalk up as a good day, and in all do fairness we allow ourselves to accept this as healthy, or at least most of us see it as a win, do we not?

Of course we do, for a lot of us this is what we live for. After all, if someone else recognizes us, and we are worthy of them commending us, we
