Poetry: Suicidal thoughts

by Brad Anderson

Created on: October 08, 2010

-Death by Suicide not Sweet Justice-

An escape, not so as some hold in their belief,

Thinking their final statement

Is their own brand of sweet justice to the marked few

In all actuality, it is no relief-

Remorse, guilt, sadness doesn’t prevail

Only disbelief and out crying pours

Survivors only shake heads

Missing out on clues left behind on a trail-

Even in the state of unhappiness and despair,

Escape with the blow of Death

Isn't the ultimate answer

Despite feeling that life's not fair-

Lord above gave life,

It's not our privilege to end it

Lest we don't seek Heaven

And be eternally buried in grieve stricken strife.
