Battle of the sexes: Neither gender is superior

Wow. An overly generalized question that fails to provide context.

Presuming logically that this is an overall social-cultural question, men clearly have a dominant position in most societies. This is not a value judgment, but rather an objective overview of politics and culture. Even in America the sufferage movement had to force the issue of allowing women to vote.

The question does not address the issue or attempt to define gender which is also subject to some nuances, especially as some nations officially recognize other genders than the simple, traditional male-female of American culture.

However, even taking this into account, the hetro male is still the predominant global force to be reconed with.

This is not to say that the hetro male is in the majority, but the hetro male does still retain a leverage interest in most realms political.

This is also not to address issues of fundamental biology. Each sex is susceptible to a variety of gene-specific diseases and conditions that can affect health and wellbeing. The hetro male is more likely to be incarcerated than a female, the hetro male has a shorter life expectancy than a female, and the hetro male is typically the one sent to war.

Who is superior versus who is dominant are distinctions to recognize in this question. Who is better at certain things: bearing children, pro-wrestling, hunting, gathering, and more is based on biological and cultural evolution and is a unsettled, complexed and convoluted field that may never provide and answer to such a specious question.
