Autumn, although cold, is filled with warmness. The colours of the leaves as they carpet the floor beneath you, ywllow, brown, green and oranges. What true beauty they add to a gloomy days walk around the town or park. Crunching under your feet!

You can invite Autumn into your home with a little new decor. Why not re decorate for the season of warmth. You could match the colours of the leaves to a few pots of paint and bring the true colours of Autumn to life in your own house. A lounge can be very nice and warm when decorated with golden yellows and oranges. Warm chocolate furniture and photo frames can then really finish the room off. If you cant afford to go overboard, you can always buy cushions of those colours and other furnishings, to bring in the colours of the season.

Another way to bring in Autumn is via art. Why not stand at a window with a great view and attempt to draw what you see. Whe you have drawn it you can then paint it in Autumn colours and place it in the hallway on a wall. That way as soon a s you enter the home, you will get a feel for Autumn. It is important to remember, that there is no wrong in art and it does not have to look perfect. Kids can also do this.

Going to the park with children of grandchildren and picking up leaves is great fun. They can fill a bag with leaves and then make a collage with them or sew with them or even, do rubbings in the colours of the leaves they picked. These pictures can then be added to their bedroom walls or door and give it a nice Autumn feel.

Having a kitchen with Autumn Vegetables on display is great. Not only does it insopire you to be healthy, but reminds you it is Autumn. Broccoli and sprouts and Cauliflower and celery are all Autumn vegetables and you could pin to around the kitchen, some Autumn recipes. That way you can really appreciate Autumn in cooking as well.

There are so many ways in which you can allow Autumn inside your home, just be adventurous and remember that it is full of brightness and warmth. Halloween is another great way at the end of October to remember the dark side of full.
