Planning a wedding can be one of the most exciting tasks a woman will perform in her life. And for the bride that wants a certain theme not only will she have more work to do she may spend more time trying to pull all the elements together.
Today it seems as if more and more ladies are opting for a Hawaiian theme which is one of the easiest to plan as there are minimal and inexpensive items that need to be purchased or rented.
Here is an overview of how to create a Hawaiian themed wedding and all the elements a bride will need to incorporate to make it a success.
Colors, decor, and flowers-When planning a Hawaiian themed wedding, brides will want to capture the beauty of this romantic island by choosing the right colors, decor, and flowers. Choosing light pink, yellow, and white for the wedding colors is a great way to demonstrate the aesthetic beauty of Hawaii and selecting Dendrobium Orchid Blossoms, Plumeria, and loose Ti Leaves for the flowers is a perfect choice as they are tropical and commonly used in Hawaii.
Invitations and Favors- Since brides are trying to keep within the Hawaiian theme, the invitations and wedding favors should reflect the colors that were chosen. The wedding invitations should be cream colored with light pink Plumeria flowers on the outside and inside the invitation there are small pictures of sea shells, Hawaiian Leis, and Palm trees. For the wedding favors brides can purchase Hawaiian Sea Salt and wrap it in organza bags and tie it with a ribbon or they can purchase pink and yellow floating candles shaped like Plumeria flowers and put them inside a decorative box.
Wedding Apparel- The bride should wear a Ku'uipo Wedding Holoku with white flip flops or she can go barefooted. She can wear a white tuberose on her head in place of a veil, and a White Orchid Lei around her neck. The bridesmaids can wear a pink dress with spaghetti straps with white flowers, decorative hair accessories, flip flops, and a thin White Orchid Lei around their neck. The groom should wear a Keoni Hawaiian wedding shirt with white pants, sandals or bare feet, and a fresh or silk Maile Lei. The groomsmen can wear a cream colored shirt which will match the bridesmaids' dresses, khaki pants, and sandals.
Ceremony Site Decor and Set-up-To truly demonstrate a Hawaiian theme brides should choose a ceremony venue that is located outside. Preferably in a location that contains grassy areas and a simple gazebo. The ceremony site should be adorned with 24 light pink and yellow
