Do guardian angels exist?

I consider myself a very open minded person. I absolutely have to either watch or listen to something whilst doing a menial task like ironing or washing dishes or else I will never get through it. I was listening to a local radio show about this woman who did not have any money to pay her daughters school fees, so she spoke to her guardian angel and a few days later she won the lotto.

Suffice to say at this point I am so engrossed in the show that I am robotically washing the dishes with all my attention on the ladies story. I wonder if infact it could all be so simple. All I have to do is ask and I will get what I want. Hadn’t I asked a million times for help and nothing happened? I was a wild child when I was younger. I thought I was invincible I would go wherever I wanted and do whatever I wanted and never once thought about physical harm being inflicted on me. I’ve walked in dark allies many times, and then I start to think about how lucky I was as you read about young girls being murdered and raped everyday. This led me to the revelation that perhaps we do all have a guardian angel.

With the whole guardian angel thing still on my mind, I ask mentally,

“Do angels exist?”

The word Enochian Instantly popped into my head. I had never in my life ever heard of or seen this word before. Like any other normal person in the 21st century I googled it and was overwhelmed. John Dee and Edward Kelley from the late 16th century claimed that angels revealed to them the angel language called Enochian.  I devoured as much as goggle had to offer, Hours upon hours of reading. Sadly I have asked numerous questions there after and nothing has materialized.

My mom was in India a few years ago and had a very VERY large sum of money in her handbag. She visited the local temple to pay her respects and after sometime had left. Half an hour away for the temple she realized that she had forgotten her handbag. She was beside herself and was sobbing hysterically. She got to the temple and quite obviously the bag was not there. Truly despondent, she walked out of the temple and was trying to figure out what she was going to do when a young Indian man walked up to her and handed her her bag. She described him as being in his early 20’s and nothing particularly striking save for the sparkle in his eye. She thanked him profusely. This part of the story is quite iffy as she says that she turned to speak to the rickshaw driver and the young man just disappeared.

Let us look at the facts. India for the most part is a poverty stricken country, theft like anywhere in the world takes place tenfold. What are the odds that a young man would return a bag full of cash?

So, do we have a guardian angel? Yes I certainly think we all do and I also believe that they don’t necessarily appear as winged creatures with halos, sometimes they may appear as a young 20 something Indian boy.
