Fall is a great time of year to try out some new make-up looks. The days are getting longer colder and darker and it is a sure sign that winter is on the way. What could be better than reinventing your look with some great new make-up looks. And fortunately this years Fall trends are fabulous.
Strong eyes.
This is a look that can be worn in the fall and all the way though winter and it is so fabulous you will want to wear it all year.
This look is about focusing all of the drama on the eyes whilst keeping the rest of the face nude.
The first thing that you will need to do is apply foundation over your eyelids. This will help give your eye shadow a more even base to adhere to and it will also help it to last longer. Now apply a dark shade of eyeshadow such as dark brown or dark blue into the crease of your eyeshadow, blend it upwards slightly.
Apply the same colour to the upper, outer corner of your eyelid and blend into the crease. Next, apply this colour underneath your eye along your bottom lashes and smudge gently, you can use an eye shadow brush or a cotton bud.
Now apply your mascara. Remove the wand from the tube for about one minute before you apply. This is a trick that many make-up artists use because it helps to avoid clumps. Hold the wand horizontally at the base of the lashes and move it upwards in a zig zag motion. This will thoroughly coat all of the eyelashes. Once the first coat has dried, apply a second in the same way.
Keep the rest of your make-up to an absolute minimum.
Nude face.
Another great fall trend is the natural face. This was seen all over the catwalks. Many people think that nude make-up means no make-up and that it is easy to do. When in fact it means clever use of make-up and it is more difficult than normal make-up because the skin must be natural but flawless. But it can be easily achieved with a little practice.
The first thing you will need to do is apply a foundation primer. This will help conceal your pores and it will also help to give your skin a more even tone. Once the primer has dried, then apply your foundation.
The best way to get a natural look is to apply foundation on only the areas that need it. But if your whole face needs it, then be sure to blend thoroughly.
Use light brown mascara instead of black to make your eyelashes look naturally longer. Only apply the mascara to the mid lengths and tips of your eyelashes.
Use a nude pink or completely clear lip gloss for a bare but beautiful pout.
