Dear Father,
I know I will see you some day
I wish I had you now, you see
Cause my daddy's gone away
I wish you were here to comfort
My mommy when she cries
I wish you were here to pick me up
And lift me in your arms up to the sky
You are much better though
Than my daddy's ever been
My daddy was never there
When I needed him
But You, dear Father
are always there
Always when I need You.
