Poetry: Nothing

by Ginger Voight

Created on: October 05, 2010

Everything I saw

Everything I felt

Was it all just an illusion?

Every friend I made

Every lovely word twisted

Into nothing but a mirage.

Another world

So foreign to my own

Rules did not apply

My heart laid bare

My soul trampled underfoot

All for, it turns out...nothing.
