Dexter is one of the best shows on television. Last year, Bright House gave us Showtime free for the first time and I decided to check out the first season of Dexter. I was amazed with the show. You have a lovable serial killer as the lead in a television show. Dexter worked for the police as a blood technician. His adopted father was a policeman and his sister works for the police. On his off time, Dexter finds bad people to kill. You see, Dexter is a serial killer and he has to get the killing out. He has to kill people because this is the type of person Dexter is. Good thing for Miami, Dexter does not kill innocent people. Dexter kills people who need to get killed and have gotten away with their crimes.

I know killing is wrong. We shouldn’t take the law into our own hands. Dexter isn’t the real world. Dexter is television. Dexter is one of the best shows on television. I went from one episode of Dexter and found myself yearning for more. Before I knew it, I watched four full seasons of Dexter. Michael C. Hall plays Dexter. He does an incredible job bringing us into the life of a real serial killer. The difference with Dexter is he does not kill innocent people. He was trained correctly by his father.

The incredible thing about Dexter is he actually gets married to try to become a normal person. The problem is Dexter doesn’t really have real feelings. He is a psychopathic serial killer. He tries to love people and does an okay job in his own way, but he is not a normal person. This is what makes Dexter one of the best shows on television. He lives the life of a serial killer right under the noses of everybody who knows him. Dexter has family and he has friends. He also has a secret habit he must do in the wee hours of the night. Dexter has the deep desire to kill people that need to be killed. He actually keeps blood specimens of each person he kills.

This year is the fifth season for Dexter. His wife was killed by another serial killer and Dexter is the number one suspect. I don’t know how the season will unwind, but I will DVR every episode to see what lies ahead. Like Dexter, I just can’t help myself. I have told many of my friends how I believe Dexter is one of the best shows on television. Everybody who has watched Dexter has been hooked. The show lures you in and immediately captures. If you decide to watch Dexter, make sure you watch the first four seasons quickly, so you can get into all the bloody details.

Dexter is one of the best shows on television. Either take my word for it or turn to Showtime on Sunday nights and take a look for yourself. If you don’t have Showtime, get it or rent the old seasons on Netflix. You will be glad you took a look at Dexter. You will be hooked on the best serial killer series I have ever seen. This is not just a review of the television series Dexter. This is the reason you should take a look at Dexter because Dexter is one of the best shows on television.
