On a big scale, most of us believe in a Creator since there is a Creation. God is the Creator in this stance just by the fact that we do not believe in the Big Bang theory to be a self made and explained explosion. To believe that this world is God's creation, makes Him the Almighty One. If God is able to create everything that is and has made it work for thousands of years without interruption, it is clear that a greater intellingence has been at work. Therefore it is understandable that many would find it easy to believe in such God, Genesis 1:1-31. On a small scale, there is the Christian God, the Savior. Not only has He created this world but also He is preparing a better one since we have managed to destroy this one. Knowing the end before the begining, He came 2000 years ago to save us on human level and individual basis, John 3:16. The God of the Bible was always patient, giving warning upon warning for his people to abide by his laws. The people always failed Him. In the book of Jeremiah 7:5-6, He is pleading with the people to amend their ways. He asked them to throughly execute judgement between a man and his neighbor. Not to oppress the stranger, the fatherless and the widow and not to shed innocent blood. In the same book chapter 7:9, they were committing adultery, swearing falsery, stealing, murdering, burning incense to Baal...Now do this sound familiar, it is more like today's world. The most choking scandal has often happened in the Church, Paul the Apostle speaks of it in the book of 1 Corinthians 5:1-2, "It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you and such fornication as is not so much as named among the gentiles, that one should have his father's wife. And you are puffed up, and have not rather mourned that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you." And this was the Church of our early fathers. Since then, things have gone from bad to worse. No wonder most people do not believe in the Church anymore. Is there any light at the end of the tunnel? I believe there is. According to Paul again we can see how in 1 Corinthians 2:4-9, "And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the spirit and of Power: that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. Howbeit we speak of wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world that come to naught: but we speak the wisdom which God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the world unto our glory but as it is written, eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of men, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him."
